Seasons Come and They Go

Seasons Come and They Go

In my Bball life I have seen with repetition, one season after another end. Though I do believe strongly ‘Players Are Made in the Off Season’ or that there is perhaps ‘No Off Season’ none the less they do end.

Coach Kevin (Hudson) Shares his story about A Father’s Love

Coach Kevin (Hudson) Shares his story about A Father’s Love

A note from ABC - We recently asked Kevin Hudson if he would share his story with the ABC Nation.  For the past year we have had the pleasure to work with Kevin who is an ABC Advocate.  Kevin is an extremely humble man.  At ABC we were so touched by Kevin’s words we couldn’t wait to share them.  While Kevin was hesitant to share his story because of his humbleness, we asked if we could please share his story because we knew people would appreciate hearing how Kevin dealt with his injury and could feel the love he has for his son.  We hope you agree.

Be Inspired!

Did not have a clue what I would blog about this week until I spoke with my long time friend Mo Phillips, from Detroit. London Blunder

My last blog covered some historical information regarding painful “Lost Gold”. This blog could very well be called the same thing. I have been the USA Women’s Wheelchair Basketball National Team Coach for the past 4 years. The success of the USA women is historical as well. They are the current 2010 World Champions, 2011 Para-PanAm Champions, back to back Paralympic Champions (Athens and Beijing) and were the number one seed heading into the 2012 Paralympics in London. So as you can see this USA/NWBA Women’s National program has rich history and dominance in the sport world wide.

Spina Bifida and Incontinence

Spina bifida is a congenital defect that occurs in approximately one in a thousand children in the US. It occurs when the bones of the spine do not form properly around part of the baby’s spinal cord. It can therefore affect how the skin on the back looks. And in severe cases, it can make walking or daily activities hard to do without help.

The disease can be mild or severe.
