A full time marketing rep at an insurance agency, Amber volunteers much of her time at WASA Bucks (Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association) coaching and playing. "I love to be involved with the younger kids and help them learn more about wheelchair basketball. It's also so much about helping them learn independence and confidence. NWBA helped me grow in a huge way and I love to stay involved and continue to learn. "

What does Adapt.Believe.Compete. mean to you?

"Adapt to the life you've been given. Learn to make the best of your own situation and live the life you want to have.

Believe in your own ability and don't let others change your mind/attitude.

Compete- Always give it all and don't give up just because things challenge you."

If you were to win this scholarship, what would you use it for?

"Traveling to practices and tournaments, but most importantly equipment. As we all know, equipment is expensive and always needed. It would go a long way for the kids in our organization and make a difference in the quality of equipment we could provide to them."

Are you a student? Whether you're a junior or a current college student, we want to hear from you.
