Figuring out how to get the things you need can be extremely challenging. Unfortunately, many things may not be covered by insurance. We get a lot of questions on what resources are out there for specialized rehab or help getting equipment that is not covered by insurance. Our team will do everything we can to help you find local or national resources like equipment exchanges or grant/ scholarship programs.
Here are some helpful resources:
• United Spinal Association has a comprehensive list of many potential opportunities. Some may be out of date, but this can be a good starting place.
• Triumph Foundation is listed on United Spinal and is a partner of ours. They offers many resources including grants and they have an equipment exchange for those in Southern California.
• The Navigator Team is also here to help you locate local resources or more specific resources based on your needs.
